  1. 1553 is Undercurrent. No.

    1557 is Stay Hungry? No.

    1558 is Starman. No.

1559 is Dumb and Dumber. I've seen chunks of it from my days when I had a couple of dozen movie channels, but I've never seen the whole thing.

1560 I was just about to give up and click the "Submit Reply" button, when suddenly it  came somewhere out of the very back of my brain that this is Melinda and Melinda, which I saw in the theater and probably haven't seen one second of since and had almost forgotten about.

Well, that last one may have saved me from a score of zero! But I'm at one pending the revelation of these other films.

  2. I'm having a hard time with the earlier ones, as usual. Certainly looks like 1542 would be something that would air a lot on TCM, but I don't know what movie featured that particular trio of stars.  I would have to use imdb to remember the title of 1543, which I usually consider "cheating", but I don't think I've ever seen it.

    Anyway ...

1547 is One Two Three. Yes

1548 is Planet of the Apes. Yes.

1550 is Absence of Malice. Yes.

Only three I'm sure I've seen.

  3. I didn't remember what they were showing, so I hunted down the September schedule thread (it's on page six) and clicked on the link to that week. The 39 Steps and Foreign Correspondent are my two favorites on the list. So many plot twists and sudden shifts in direction, particularly in the latter, that they're quite good fun. Somehow, I've never seen Stage Fright, so I'd like to check it out especially.

  4. Struggling with most of these.

1534 is probably Kiss Me Kate, which I've seen.

1538 I've seen a lot of Elvis movies, but this one where's doubling as a blond eludes me, so probably I haven't seen it. But given the theme, I'm going to guess Kissing Cousins.

1539 is Kisses for My President. Yes.

So, only two I'm absolutely sure I've seen.

  5. 1521 Looks a little like Will Rogers. It could be Judge Priest. I haven't seen it.

1522 Well, there are lots of Tracy-Hepburn movies. I've seen almost all of them. I'm guessing this is Woman of the Year, which I've seen. Could be Adam's Rib, which I've also seen.

1525 is Witness for the Prosecution. Yes.

1526 El Cid? We had to watch it in my high school Spanish class, so I've seen it, if that's what this is.

1527 is Two for the Road. No.

    1529 is Animal House. Yes.

1530 is Kiss of the Spider-Woman. Yes.

Only three I'm sure I've seen, but I feel like my score is going to be higher than that.

  6. I actually don't remember a ton about any of them. Boys is the only one I've seen more than once. It's an okay watch.  I don't remember it airing during the recent swimsuit movie spotlight, but maybe I just missed it. I first saw footage of Johnny in a Metallica video, of all things. I seem to recall it being kind of pretentious, but I probably need to watch it again. And Stardust is a rare Woody Allen movie I've only seen once, kind of 8 1/2-evocative, as I recall. I do remember the joke about "the early, funny ones", which a lot of critics were probably wishing he'd go back to at that time.

  7.

1492 is Random Harvest! The movie I noted was missing from the amnesia list. Yes.

    1496 is Hawaii. Yes.

1497 looks like Timothy Bottoms, but I'm not really familiar with his resume. I will throw out a bad guess that it's The Last Picture Show, which may be the only film of his I've seen. Well, I've also seen The Paper Chase, but this certainly doesn't look like that.

1498 I've seen a lot of Woody Allen films, but I'm not remembering which one this is. Love and Death is the only thing I can think of, which I've seen, but I don't think this is it.

1499 is the Steve Martin version of Father of the Bride. Yes.

    1500 is Seabiscuit. Yes.

Four that I can confirm I've seen.

  8. 1482 is Follow the Fleet. I remember I guessed this once before but was incorrect.  I don't remember if I said I'd seen it or not. I know I've at least seen part of it. I guess I better call it a "No".

1483 might be Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, which I've seen, but there could be lots of movies with Spencer Tracy in a lab.

1486 is Divorce American Style. Yes.

1487 I almost never try to find one of these movies through imdb, which I consider "cheating", but I was intrigued, having been previously unaware of a collaboration between these two actors. So, I now know the title, but it wasn't a movie I'd ever heard of or seen.

    1490 is Monster-in-Law. No.

Well ... only one I'm absolutely sure I've seen.
