  1. (I already posted this in the Info. Thread, but I had no luck. So I'm hoping a genre specific thread might get me somewhere!! ) I thought I had watched this film on Neflix, but I am unable to find it in my history! I know it was Black and White and that it had Noir undertones (if it wasn't full-on Noir) There was a man and a woman on the run. The woman is accused of being insane and the man (who I believe is a reporter/journalist of some kind) pretends to believe that she's sane, but ends up committing her to an asylum. Shortly there after, he has a change of heart and goes back for
  2. Still no:( But I'm about to hunt down THAT movie because it TOO sounds awesome! Thanks Julie:)
  3. No, it's neither of those! (Though they are both remarkable films!!) I remember almost all of the movie..except the title and the actors!!! So frustrating!! (Don't take my annoyance as me being ungrateful! Because I do so appreciate your guys' help!)
  4. Wow! That is A LOT like it! But I'm afraid that's not it:( Thank you SO much though! I think I'll watch that film in the meantime!

  6. Oh I know exactly how you feel! I'm in college now, and a lot of my peers think it's strange that I get so frustrated with films from 1980+ being shown on TCM! A classic(from what I have learned) is something that is at least 50 years old. TCM is pushing it by showing films made after 1960, let alone the 1980's! I actually made something for a powerpoint debating this subject for my Public Speaking coarse: http://i34.tinypic.com/iej8rs.jpg Yes, Denzel Washington is a great actor. Yes, his films are great. But he was born in 1954!!!! DECADES after the best films in history were made!!! He
  7. OH THANK YOU! That's exactly it! Wonderful!!
  8. I saw it on the schedule a while ago, but I can't seem to find it now: It's about a man and a woman who are trapped underground, or in the rubble of a destroyed building with a group of Nazis. He has a dog that's on the outside who's trying to save him. She gets stabbed. That's all I can remember! Any help would be great! I need to write a paper on Media and WW2, and it seems to be a great topic!
  9. Thanks for the welcome FredCDobbs! And I'm sorry CineSage, I wasn't aware that the boards were so well seen, I didn't mean to come across as a pest, I guess my curiosity got the better of me. I won't make that mistake again. <3
  10. I'm watching the short documentary between movies by George Kennedy and there's a movie on there I feel like I should recognize, but I can't put my finger on it. He's wearing a white turtle neck sweater and a black beanie-or knit cap. At least...it could be black...it's a black and white film. But in the clip he's holding a woman in his arms, and she's either dead or unconcious...I can't make out who she is..but I was hoping that someone could help me figure out what it is. Any help would be helpful! Thanks!
