  8. Thank you mr6666. I don't have my dvr (in storage) so I'll have to wait until it comes on at a 'decent' hour. Here's one from one our most cherished directors... No complete original print of this movie is known to have survived, as several reels of the original nitrate negative deteriorated in the late 1960s. All 132 minutes of the original soundtrack have been recovered, whereas only 125 minutes of film footage was located. A combination of publicity photos of the actors in costume (taken during filming) and still frames copied from elsewhere in the film is shown while the soundtrack plays. The introduction to the restored version proclaims "[their] search for the missing footage goes on".

The daughter of a civil engineer, as a child she was educated at Northumberland House in Bristol and trained as a dancer at a drama school run by her aunt, Phyllis Smale. Kerr won a scholarship to Ninette de Valois's Sadler's Wells, making her London debut at 17 among the corps de ballet in Prometheus. Kerr was acting with the Oxford Repertory Players when spotted while dining at the Mayfair Hotel by a producer, Gabriel Pascal.
