Yes, thanks everyone. We have them all now. I agree with Lavender. It was kind of depressing when I was posting the photos, knowing how they looked in their Bond films. Luckily, Lavender and I have hardly aged at all since the sixties and seventies. Here they are, then and later, with the year of their Bond movie and their approximate age at the time.. New York native Lavenderblue may be interested to know that Barbara Bach was originally Barbara Goldbach from Queens, and Tanya Roberts was originally Victoria Blum from The Bronx. Shutoo got two, Lavender got seven, and Rich got three. Lavender doesn't post photos, so Rich (SCSU1975) gets to post next.

Thanks, Lav. I kind of feel like I don't deserve to go next, so I'll make it an easy one (I think), and maybe someone will get it quickly. Besides Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland, what other siblings have been Oscar winners for their acting?

Yes, they are all Bond girls. We still need #6, #7, and #10. #6 and #7 were in the same movie, which featured a lot of underwater scenes. #10 rode the Orient Express with Mr. Bond in another picture.

In the "Noir Alley" thread in "General Discussions", there is a discussion about the movie "The Locket". It is mentioned that one of the cast is actress Lilian Fontaine. She is the mother of Oscar winners Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland.

Yes, it's Lawrence Welk's long time Champagne Lady, Norma Zimmer. She was also the voice of the white rose in Disney's "Alice In Wonderland", and she supposedly had a part as a chorus girl in "Singin' In The Rain", but I have looked and have not found her in that film. She also did studio work as a background singer for people like Perry Como, Dean Martin, and even Dale Evans. Starliteyes, you're up next.

Yes, with Liza Minnelli before she became a real big star. Wendell Burton was the boy. His career never really took off, although he did work in TV for some time. The movie is remembered for the Oscar nominated song "Come Saturday Morning". Here it is: If you were of a similar age to the movie's characters when you first saw it, you probably really liked it. A young fellow on his way to college for his freshman year meets a young lady going for her freshman year at a neighboring school. There is an old saying that opposites attract and that is what happens in this movie. He is shy, straight-laced and studious. She is outspoken, quirky, and quite insecure. She lives in her own little world where everyone else is considered a "wierdo". Despite these differences, a romance develops, although it's a bit rocky. Can you name this film?

You have the correct movie, but not the correct singer, Starliteyes. If you go way down the cast list, you should find a familiar name of a woman who was a regular on a musical TV show for many years.

Thanks to Lavender, Rich, and Lawrence. We have them all now. Yes, they all used gender-neutral or cross-gender first names. When I started posting these photos, I thought I was making it too easy, so I looked for photos of some of these folks from when they were much older or much younger than most of us would remember them. I saw Joey Heatherton perform in Atlantic City in the eighties and I would not have recognized her from that photo. I also would not have known Daryl Hannah from her pic. Lawrence got the most, so he gets to post next.

It's called "Psych-Out" and it stars Susan Strasberg as the deaf girl, Bruce Dern as the brother, and a pre-"Easy Rider" Jack Nicholson as a member of a psychodelic rock group. I haven't seen it. I got the details from IMDB.

You've got them all now, Lavender. Good work. Leslie Howard even wore a false nose in his disguise. He removed it after helping rescue several people from the guillotine. When I mentioned there were choices, I was referring to the first and last movies. Lavender picked Marlon Brando, but it could just as easily have been Karl Malden. I Know that Lavender doesn't post photos, so I'll leave the thread open at this time.

Pretty close, Lavender, but #4 is not "A Tale Of Two Cities". In fact, the star of #4 is pictured in the center of the photo. It is a man in disguise as a woman. That also makes Isabel Jewell incorrect. Someone from "Gone With The Wind" was in #4. Here's a hint: An actor from #3 played the villain in #4.

Thanks. Bing Crosby once did a musical movie that featured a college production of a stage musical. One of the young ladies in that college production would go on to have a long career as a singer on a weekly TV show. Can you name Bing's movie and that female singer? She was a soprano.

Thanks everyone. We have them all now. Lavender, I believe you are right. It does look like Gilbert Roland. It has become apparent to me that some of the caricatures are identified as different people by several internet sources, so without a definitive list from the producers, we can't always be sure. Most of these photos are from a 1941 Warner Bros. cartoon called "Hollywood Steps Out". You can judge for yourself who the celebrities are. All correct except Ronald Colman. I thought the same thing when I first saw it. My sources say that man is supposed to be Douglas Fairbanks. #6 should be easy. Any guesses?
