  1. SueSue, I think we need a little help here, maybe with the garment clue or the British clue? Thanks.
  2. Yes, "Sing Before Breakfast, help the birdies along, before you have that buttered toast, have a song! You've got to sing before breakfast, croon a tune and rejoice, before you use that coffee pot, use your voice!" The three of them danced all over that rooftop to that song. The problem with multi-part questions is what to do when the answer is split between two people. It's like that old Frank Sinatra song, give me "All Or Nothing At All". BWwatcher or Cujas can take the next one.

  8. C'mon, finance. Don't you remember that classic TV series "Colt '45" with Wade Preston as Christopher Colt. In the late 50's, Warner Bros. had a string of popular TV westerns headed by "Maverick" , "Cheyenne", and "Sugarfoot". They kept adding new ones like "Bronco" with Ty Hardin and "Colt "45", until the popularity ceased. They also made sure that their western stars occasionally crossed over and appeared as their characters on the other Warner Bros. western shows. They also had popular detective shows like "77 Sunset Strip" and "Hawaiian Eye". Clint Walker from "Cheyenne" and Edd "Kookie" Byrnes from "77 Sunset Strip" were so popular that they were teamed in a major theatrical release called 'Yellowsone Kelly". (Of course, I got all this information from my grandparents, because you know I'm much too young to remember stuff like this.) Georgette Barry is Andrea King Next: Louis Francis Cristillo
  9. The one with Leo G. Carroll and the children is, I think, from "Stamboul Quest". The little girl looks like Virginia Weidler. I believe that the one with Preston Foster at the bar is from "The Outcasts Of Poker Flat". That's Billy Gilbert as one of the bartenders.
  10. BWwatcher got the movie right, but there's more to the question. Who did Buddy Ebsen sing and dance with, and what was the name of the song? Now that you know the movie title, it should be easier.
  11. This one may be familiar to some of you. Buddy Ebsen was part of a song and dance number in a movie where he wore a sweatshirt with a picture of Mickey Mouse on it. What was the movie and who did he sing and dance with in this number? For bonus points, can you name the song?

  19. No apologies necessary. You must have been posting when I was still typing. I've never been real quick. Hearing Virginia Tech reminds me of the sportscast I heard a few years ago. The announcer said that the Hokies of Virginia Tech had beaten someone in football and then he reported on a baseball game where the winning run was knocked in by a player named Pokey Reese. He said it had to be the first time the words Hokie and Pokey were used in the same sportscast. His partner chimed in with "And that's what it's all about! Welcome aboard. We all hope you have a good time.
  20. Joan Caulfield The Director Of "Brokeback Mountain" Was _______ Lee Mrs. Muir Meets The Ghost At ________ Cottage Ernie's Friend On "Sesame Street" Anthony Newley Starred In "Can Heironymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy _________ And Find True Happiness?" The Trashmen Had a Hit With "Surfin' __________" + The Great Schnozzola Sang "Inka ______a Doo" (A little something for everyone in this puzzle.)
  21. Well, I haven't gotten confirmation from VTSMM. What could that possibly stand for? Vermont's Movie Maven, perhaps? I'll assume my Charles Oakley answer was right and plod onward. This movie had an actress named Queenie and a character named Queenie, but Queenie did not play Queenie.
