  1. Glenn Ford

Author Of "My Antonia" Robert Blake Re-kindled His Career With "_______ Cold Blood" Habitant Soup Sponsored TV's "The _________ Ghost" + Lon Chaney Jr. Played Count Alucard, The "________ Of Dracula"

  2. Marlon Brando - Yes, the clues are a bit vague. Mario Lanza, Lon McAllister, Branded, and Kathy-O is what I came up with.

"The Peppermint Twist" Was A Hit For Joey ______ And The Starlighters Patty Duke's Bio Was "Call Me ________" Charlie Chan's Creator Was Earl ______ Biggers + Hank Snow And Johnny Cash Both Had Hits With "I've _______ Everywhere

  3. I waited as long as I could, but no one has gotten it. I believe that it's Nigel Patrick and Charles Coburn in a 1957 British film called "How to Murder A Rich Uncle". Nigel Patrick also directed it, and it featured veteran actress Wendy Hiller, as well as a couple of up and coming young actors named Anthony Newley and Michael Caine. Maybe this thread should be re-titled, because it definitely was not an easy one.

  4. Lionel Stander

He Was TV's "Sugarfoot" He Played Oskar Schindler In "The Time Of Their Lives", Horatio And Melody Are Killed And Their Bodies Are Thrown Into A __________ + Dorothy Jordan Played Marie Dressler's Adopted Daughter In "______ And Bill"

  5. This type of thing has been done a lot. Martin Sheen played Charlie Sheen's father in "Wall Street". Liza Minnelli appeared as Judy's daughter in the final scene of "In The Good Old Summertime". Alan Ladd and David Ladd played father and son in "The Proud Rebel". In "Paper Moon", it's hinted that Ryan O'Neal is Tatum's father. Diane Ladd and Laura Dern have played mother and daughter several times. And of course, we have Henry and Jane Fonda in "On Golden Pond". I'm sure there must be many more.

  6. That's a pretty good trivia question. Lucie Arnaz was a regular on her mother's show "Here's Lucy" in the seventies, and then in the eighties she had her own sitcom, "The Lucie Arnaz Show". I looked it up on IMDB and found that it ran for a grand total of six episodes in 1985 before being cancelled. By the way, on the "Hazel" show, Whitney Blake played Mrs. Baxter, when in real life she had been Mrs. Baxter.

  7. Good work, cujas. Yes, it's Marjorie Reynolds, who, ironically, was in a western movie with Roy Rogers called "Robin Hood Of The Pecos" in 1941, the year before "Holiday Inn". By the way, and I've mentioned this before on these boards, Marjorie Reynolds was in a movie in 1940 called "Up In The Air" where her character was named Anne Mason. In "Holiday Inn", she played Linda Mason, and in "Dixie" in 1943 she played Jean Mason. Yes, the movies were completely unrelated. And since you brought up "The Life Of Riley", did you know there were two series with that name? The first one only lasted one season and starred Jacke Gleason and Rosemary DeCamp, with Gloria Winters, later to be on "Sky King", as Babs. The later series featured Lugene Sanders as Babs. Later, on an episode of Richard Diamond, Private Detective, Gloria Winters and Lugene Sanders played roommates. It's your turn, cujas.

  8. Doris Day was also closely associated with "Que Sera Sera". Now, Dale Evans started out as a radio singer in the midwest. She broke into movies in the early forties. You may have seen her in "Orchestra Wives", which featured the Glenn Miller orchestra. She auditioned for a part in a musical at Paramount, but she didn't get the part because she could not tap dance. The actress who did get the part could tap dance enough to get by, which is a good thing, because she danced with Fred Asraire in the picture. Just think, if Dale had gotten the part, she may never have gone to Republic Studios and met Roy Rogers. What was the movie where she did not get the part and who was the actress who did get it?

  9. Glenn Close

He Took Over Arnold's Drive-In On "Happy Days" After Pat Morita Left Johhny Sheffield Was Featured In "Tarzan Finds ____ _______" The Three Stooges Had A Routine Where They Followed The Directions On A Bottle Of Pills That Said" Take One Pill, ______ An Hour, Then Take One More". Guess What They Did For That Hour. + She Played Grandma In "Lost In Yonkers"

  10. I answered "Ever In My Heart" because I thought it was a picture of a young Barbara Stanwyck, but now I think it's Evelyn Brent and Emil Jannings in "The Last Command".

  11. Pee Wee Herman - Perhaps it should be on the Walk Of Shame

In "Knight Rider", William Daniels Provided The Voice Of _________ Barbara Stanwyck Starred In "The Bitter ____ Of General Yen" "Dude, Where's My ______?" + He Was The First Husband Of Julia Roberts

  12. Yes, Virginia Grey started out playing "Little Eva" in a silent version of "Uncle Tom's Cabin". She had a very nice career, but never really became an "A-List" star like Lana, Hedy, or Liz. In the late thirties and early forties, MGM seemed to have quite a few young starlets. Perhaps there was just too much competition there. Good work, Dan. It's your turn now.
