Is it "Baby, Take A Bow"?
-
Correct, Eve. Chill Wills is his real name. His parents must have had a sense of humor. He was given the name "Chill" when he was born on a very hot July day. He continued the tradition when he became a father. His daughter was named Jill Wills and his son was Will Wills. I kid you not! And when they were sick, they were ill Wills. Your turn, Eve.

It took me a while to figure out where you were going with this, but I think I have it. Milton Berle would be "The Thief Of Bad Gags" and Marni Nixon would be "The Ghostess With The Mostest".

Thanks. Here's something not many people know. Character actor Chill Wills started in movies as a singer in a group. What?, you say! The man who provided the voice for Francis the talking mule, could actually sing? Yes, it's true. They appeared in several movies in the 1930's, including one with W.C. Fields, one with Bing Crosby, and one with Laurel and Hardy. Can you name those three movies as well as the name of the singing group?

Thanks. as we all know, Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels played The Lone Ranger and Tonto on TV and in several movies. They also worked together in a movie where they played different characters. In fact, Clayton Moore played a villian. What was the name of this movie?
-
I will guess that it's Eddie Fisher. He was a singer, not an actor, when he appeared with Debbie Reynolds in "Bundle Of Joy". Later, he appeared with Liz Taylor in "Butterfield-8".

That's correct. Your thread, lavender.

Thanks, Eve. In the thirties, Jean Harlow was in a popular movie that was remade some years later with Lucille Ball playing the role that Jean had played in the original. What were the names of the two movies?

Triangle Studios was a partnership of D.W.Griffith, Mack Sennett, and Thomas Ince. Ince had built his own studio earlier in Pacific Palisades, but had sold it to William S. Hart. He then acquired the land in Culver City that would become Triangle. He eventually sold his share to his partners. They later sold the studio to Samuel Goldwyn. In the early twenties, in a merger, Goldwyn's studio merged with Metro Pictures and Louis B. Mayer Productions to form MGM, although Goldwyn himself was not a part of the merger. He became an independent producer. In the eighties, MGM was sold to Lorimar Productions and then to Sony, who renamed it Culver City Studios. Sony owns it today.

Yes, Steve Martin had just broken up with Bernadette Peters and he thought working together would be too uncomfortable for them, so he turned down the part in "Annie". They had already worked together in "The Jerk" and "Pennies From Heaven". Your thread, Eve!

Whose ex-girl friend was in it? Remember, he's a well known comic actor.

Why don't you take a guess? You may get another clue. Here's one for now. The actor who ended up in the movie was Tim Curry. And, oh yes, the movie was made after 1975.
