Triangle Studios was a partnership of D.W.Griffith, Mack Sennett, and Thomas Ince. Ince had built his own studio earlier in Pacific Palisades, but had sold it to William S. Hart. He then acquired the land in Culver City that would become Triangle. He eventually sold his share to his partners. They later sold the studio to Samuel Goldwyn.
