Almost perfect! Alan and David Ladd were in "The Big Land", but I don't think they played father and son. It was "The Proud Rebel" where they were father and son. Can anyone out there think of other instances where this happened? In the meantime, Phroso, it's your thread.

Ok, here's one I just thought of that shouldn't be too tough. As we all know, Henry and Jane Fonda were father and daughter and they played father and daughter in "On Golden Pond". The practice of having real life parent and offspring play roles with the same relationship in movies has been done several times. An obvious one is "Here Come The Nelsons" with Ozzie, Harriet, David, and Ricky. I will name five performers. Your job is to name the other family member, either a parent or offspring, who worked with them in a movie playing parent and offspring, and name the movie. The five are:
Martin Sheen
Emma Thompson
June Lockhart
Alan Ladd
Ginger Rogers

Cagney, why don't you start a new one, but give a clue or two?

My research finds that Bennett Cerf replaced poet and author Louis Untermeyer, who was being investigated by the Un-American Activities committee as a possible communist. The sponsor and producers couldn't afford the controversy. Although this was not a movie trivia question, I found it very interesting. I didn't watch the show until the late fifties, and I was unaware of it's history. We could probably do a whole thread about people investigated in the early fifties witch hunts. If I'm wrong this time, you might as well say it's ten down and none to go because I'm done.
