  2. I will venture a guess that it is Paul Muni and Greer Garson. Paul Muni starred in "The Story Of Louis Pasteur", "The Life Of Emile Zola", and "Juarez", in which he played Mexican President Benito Juarez. Greer Garson played Marie Curie In "Madame Curie. She also played Eleanor Roosevelt in "Sunrise At Campobello", and she played Calpurnia, the wife of Caesar, in"Julius Caesar".

Did I get them, or did you have someone else in mind?

  3. Do you know me? I was born into a family of vaudevillians. I was on stage from the time I was a toddler. I broke into movies as a child. I was a triple threat, acting, singing, and dancing. As a teen, I appeared in a series of successful musicals, often with Peggy Ryan and Gloria Jean. As a young adult, I continued with musicals, some of them very memorable. However, some may remember me for a series of movies with a four-legged co-star. In my later years, I did a lot of TV work, as well as live stage shows. In my career I worked with some of the all-time greats. I appeared with Bing Crosby, Marilyn Monroe, Vera-Ellen, Gene Kelley, James Cagney, Jack Lemmon, Ethel Merman, Mitzi Gaynor, and Debbie Reynolds. I idolized Buster Keaton, whose early life was very much like my own, and like Keaton, I also had a drinking problem at one time. I will always be remembered for one particular acrobatic song and dance number in a terrific musical. Do you know me?

  4. Correct. Fay Bainter was Mickey Rooney's mother in "Young Tom Edison" and "The Human Comedy". Fay Holden was his mom in the Hardy family series. Spring Byington played Mrs. Hardy once, in "A Family Affair" , and Ann Shoemaker was Mom in "Strike Up The Band". It's your turn!
