  1. Lena Horne - About as simple as this game can be!

  2. Very good everyone.  You might remember Jack Norton as A. Pismo Clam in "The Bank Dick".  He actually never drank in real life.  Unfortunately, Arthur Housman drank a whole lot and that led to his death in the early 1940's.  I didn't realize when I first posted their photos, but the last four that were identified, Arthur Hohl, Jack Norton, Arthur Housman, and Herman Bing were all born in 1889.  Strange, isn't it?

Good job by everyone.  Lavender and Princess don't post photos, so Shutoo gets the thread.

  3. A movie version of a Broadway show featured music by Jerome Kern and two top musical stars who danced together.  Some years later, there was a remake made and now another dance team was featured.  Strangely, in between the two movies, the two female members of the dance teams actually appeared together in another movie.  Can you name the two movies with Jerome Kern music, as well as the members of the two dance teams?  Bonus points if you can name the movie that the two female dancers appeared in together.

  4. Very good Lavender and Princess.  We still need #1, 2, 3, and 10.

#1 was in all kinds of movies in the thirties and forties, including suspense stories, crime dramas, and even a few musicals.  He was also in a couple of Cecil B. DeMille epics that featured Claudette Colbert.

#2 and #3 were famous for their drunk acts.

#10 played Germans and Austrians and he's not Sig Rumann.

    Strangely, all four, #1, 2, 3, and 10 were born in 1889.

  5. Can you name these character actors?

They were all active in the 1930's and 40's.

  6. That's Tony Martinez as Pepino.  Everything else is correct.  Here's Andy Devine with Guy Madison as Wild Bill Hickock:

Some of those shows have been rerun over the years, but not all.  It's amazing that we remember characters and shows from more than fifty or sixty years ago.  Nice work everyone.

Princess got the most so she gets to go next.

  7. Here is a list of character names and nicknames from TV shows from the 50's and 60's.  Many of them have been rerun for years on various retro channels so the names may be somewhat familiar.  Can you name the actors and actresses who played those characters, as well as the names of the shows?

    1.  Ellen Miller

    2.  Jingles

    3.  Trixie Norton

    4.  Sock Miller

    5.  Schultzy

    6.  Kitten

    7.  Michael Anthony

    8.  Doberman

    9.  Lumpy Rutherford

    10. Pepino

    11. Edie Hart

    12. Zelda Gilroy

    13. Bunny Halper

    14. Goober

    15. Mel Cooley

    16. Wishbone

    17. Flint McCullough

    18. Schnauser

    19. Uncle Martin

    20. Crazy Cat

Ellen Miller and Sock Miller are unrelated.  Schultzy is not the sergeant on "Hogan's Heroes".  Wishbone is not a dog, and Crazy Cat is not a cat.  Good luck!

  9. It's Trevor Bardette, who played Old Man Clanton on the Wyatt Earp show.  Initially, I thought of the Dick Tracy series, but in checking the cast lists on IMDB, I failed to look at the uncredited roles, so I missed his name.  He was literally in hundreds of westerns both on the big screen and on TV.

  14. Very good, Lavender.  For those of you who are not familiar with" Mule Skinner Blues", you're in for a real treat if you listen to this clip by The Fendermen.  (They played Fender guitars.)

Lavender got the most, so she gets to go next.
