[Need to know title of old movie]

I'm looking for a black and white christmas movie (I believe) about a little girl who visits an elderly lady, but the women's adult daughter is jealous of the little girl's relationship with her mother. Also, the little girl sees an angel outside in the snow. By the end of the movie the daughter ends up saving the little girl's life. I hope I'm remembering this correctly. It has been a long time since I've seen it.

If anyone knows what movie this is please help! It is driving me crazy
