I found it. In the Meantime, Darling. Jeanne Crain 1944. However, I cannot find a place to buy it.

Thanks for answering, but that isn't it. I also remember the lady that runs the house, her husband was killed and the main actress discovers this while waiting in her room the argue with her.

I only saw a litttle of this on a lunch break awhile back...

 

A bunch of wives of soldiers are living in a boarding house together. One lady seems to think she is better than the others and doesnt want help doing the work. Husband is a 2 LT. All the men come home for a leave (I guess). Her husband has to stay and work. Another lady wants her man to take her out, but he wants to play cards. I think than that main lady is leaving the husband... dunno had to go back to work. Movie was B/W.
