  1. van Aalten, Truus (Dutch actress/comedienne who worked in German and Dutch films 1926 - 1939).
  2. Zuro, Josiah (composer and musical director on early-sound shorts and cartoons).
  3. That's an interesting poster for "The Lady and the Mob". One would expect them to use a big eye-catching image of the beautiful young Ida Lupino. But not on this one. That is probably supposed to Ida in the background on the left. But of course they would have made more than just one poster design. Can you find any others?
  4. PEACH O'RENO (1932 Wheeler & Woolsey comedy).
  5. One might say George aged "Grace-fully".
  6. That happened to me on Friday night when I tried to post something after the Ma and Pa Kettle movies. And after a long period of the site freezing up and getting no results, my post finally showed up...nine times! (and it wasn't even all that important, just a lame attempt at a little levity.) It appears we are just going to have to live with this kind of thing.
  7. Music by Brian Eno -- Good! I'll be watching (and listening) at least for that!
  8. Perrin, Nat (Writer - comedy movies with The Marx Bros., Eddie Cantor, etc.)
  9. Speaking of noticing errors, I have to assume that's just an amusing typo when the article says that Debbie Reynolds was the "leading lad" in "Singin' In the Rain"! She never looked like a lad to me!
  10. Thanks...I suspected that "Black Legion" wasn't quite exactly right, but close anyway. It's been a while since I've seen it and I'd forgotten some of the details. I will post my movie quote again: What movie is it from? "He die dead to do that."
  11. He's a serial villain! Don't you know you have to wait till the last chapter to find out?! But okay... Charles C. Wilson
  12. Bob Nolan and the Sons of the Pioneers. I'll let someone else do the next one...not sure if I could come up with something as good as everyone else has.
  13. Is that "Black Legion"? Here's a quote: What movie is it from? "He die dead to do that."
  14. "The Octopus" (Villian in 1938 Columbia serial "The Spider's Web").
  15. LITTLE ACCIDENT (Universal, 1930 & 1939)
  16. For everyone who's been wondering who the two nurses are in the Three Stooges poster (somebody must be...) They are Beatrice Curtis and Beatrice Blinn. By the way, the poster doesn't give any clue that the film's title refers to the fact that The Stooges work in a dog hospital.
  17. Meyer, Abe (Poverty Row studios' music scoring).
  18. It Couldn't Have Happened (But It Did) (1936)
