  1. Gregory Peck, Sean Connery, Gary Cooper, Rock Hudson, Ronald Coleman, Cary Grant, Robert Mitchum, Kirk Douglas, Johnny Deph, Pierce Bronson, Clint Eastwood, and many many more.;-)
  2. Not a movie but I just watched a birthday tribute to Coop and it was wonderful up until the part where Clint Eastwood told about his affair with Pat Neal and how it tore his life apart. I don't know why but it broke my heart. I still have a lump in my throat. Maybe it brought back things in my past life, who knows. Other than that part, it was a wonderful history of his movie and a bit of his private life. I recommend it highly for those of you who are Coop fans.
  3. TCM's Program Schedule (Display 15 results of 15)...opps, I didn't finish. There are 15 Gary Cooper movies scheduled during the next 3 months. That still doesn't sound right but you get the message......I hope.;-)

  5. I knew and was told you'd get a kick out of that. By the way, I was just looking to see if there were any Coop movies on in the near future and was amazed to see there are "16" from next week all through June there are 16 Coop movies on. Not all westerns but great movies. I'm going to enjoy that, know you will too.
  6. I just have to share this with you guys. First of all, I'm a fan of Coop. I don't think any-other actor can play as many different roles as he did weather it be western or not. I just love the man. Anyway, I was in the Pharmacy today getting a prescription filled for my shoulder is sprung from trying to act 40 again. I did find I can no longer do the electric slide!! As I was sitting there waiting on the prescript.. there was a guy working on the little machines used to pay with a debit or credit card. I kept looking at him because I thought I had seen him before and then he laughed and smil
  7. This is _a long read but for those Coop fan you're gonna luv this;-)!! Talk about a man for all seasons. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000011/bio
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't _THEY CAME TO CODURA_the last movie Coop made. I read somewhere that he was so sick during the filming of this movie that they tried to get him to stop but he saw it through. The more I read and hear about this man the more I respect his work.
  9. I have, as long as I can remember, loved western everything. When I was 5 years old I got a cowgirl outfit for Christmas. Heck, I had a two six shooters, boots, hat, skirt and everything. Thought I was tough. Then when I got older my dad taught me to shoot. I'm an old girl now but still a pretty good shot. Nothing like the western shows on Saturday morning in the 50ies. Cisco and Pancho, Lash La Rue and a bowl of sugar pops.......LOL!!. Loved them all!
  10. Thanks for the welcome. Actually my favorite western star in Gary Cooper. Funny thing is, I don't remember ever seeing him in a movie when I was young. Only on TCM. What would we do with out TCM. Coop did more than westerns too. Fountainhead is a killer. Sexy man......;-)!!
  11. I can't believe I'm admitting this to the world but I named my youngest son after Randolph Scott. My husband and I were on a trip and drove by his home in Virginia and it just clicked in me head. If I ever have a son I'm going to name him Randolph and I DID!!!!!! Lord I hope my son doesn't read this because if he knew I named him from a cowboy and didn't call him 'THE DUKE" he would shoot me. He loves John Wayne.
  12. Here I sit at home on Christmas Eve with the flu and when I saw your tribute I just balled. What a wonderful job. I love that man.
