  1. James Finlayson was in "Royal Wedding" with Fred Astaire,
  2. There are many examples of married couples working together in the movies. Also, there are many cases of two actors working together who eventually went on to being married. But I find it fascinating when two actors work together after their dfivorce. Three that I can think of are Stanwyck and Taylor in "The Night Walker", Ray Anthony and Mamie Van Doren in "The Beat Generation", and Jeffrey Hunter and Barbara Rush in "No Down Payment." And, if you want to get into television, Michele Lee and James Farentino made a TV movie together about (what else?) divorce. Any others that come to mind? Terrence.
  3. In addition to all these suggestions,I strongly suspect that Stanwyck is one of his very favorite actresses.
  4. I'm not a huge Joan Fontaine fan, but I really like this movie. In my opinion, this is her best performance on film. Her transformation from young girl to mature woman is amazing. Terrence.

  12. Last night I recorded "Vice Raid" on my DVR. After the movie, Ben was talking about Mamie, Marilyn Monroe, and Brad Dexter. My machine stopped right in the middle of his comments. Does anyone remember what Ben said about those three actors?
