No doubt about it. Hands down, my favorite Christmas movie is "Remember the Night." Although this is not a well-known movie, TCM does manage to show it often. For anyone who loves Christmas movies, don't let this one pass you by. Stanwyck and MacMurray are wonderful, as is the supporting cast. A real feel-good movie. Terrence.

December Star of the Month: BARBARA STANWYCK
Terrence1 replied to SueSueApplegate's topic in General Discussions
I am sooooo looking forward to December and all those wonderful Stanwyck films. And there's one ("Message to Garcia") that I've never seen before. It's really a rare Stanwyck movie. Plus lots of others that I'm looking forward to seeing again. Gonna be a great month! -

Thank you, Jezebel and Sepiatone. You both are wonderful! This is just too good a list for any movie lover not to have a copy of. Terrence.

There seem to be a lot of back-and-forth opinions about Sally Field in this. I, for one, believe that she is terrific as Mary Lincoln. She has only a few brief scenes, but she is believable as a mother who has recently lost a son. I would not be at all surprised if she receives an Oscar nomination. Terrence.

A few days ago, someone had posted a list of all the actors who had been dubbed by real singers. For the life of me, I cannot locate this posting, and I'd like to print this out for my own use. Does anyone remember this posting, and how I might find it? Thanks so much. Terrence.
