I don't think anyone has mentioned another Jeanne Crain movie: "Vicki". She made this with Jean Peters and is a remake of "I Wake Up Screaming." It's a rather good murder mystery.

TopBilled, I'm glad you mentioned "Man Without a Star." This is a very good Western with Kirk Douglas and Claire Trevor. And I like Jeanne Crain's character in this. After leaving Fox, she signed with Universal and made a few films there, including the Western mentioned above, and two little-known movies, "The Tattered Dress" with Jeff Chandler, and a musical called "The Second Greatest Sex." As I recall, this is a very entertaining musical. Just some thoughts on the wonderful Ms. Crain.

Sorry, I didn't realize that my clues were so obscure. Let's go a bit further. The star of the TV series died within that past two years, and was featured in the cast of the Broadway version of "Mame." The guest star received an Oscar nomination for a Joan Crawford film and has been featured in many, many movies, and is considered one of the great character actresses.
