OK. Without giving away too much, the star of this series went on to star in another extremely popular sitcom in the 1980's. She won an Emmy for both of these series. The guest star was the star of a hugely popular sitcom in the 1950's, as well as being in many Warner Bros. movies in the 40's and 50's.

Let's try this one. The TV series was a popular program in the 1970's or 1980's (I think) and the guest star played an older relative who comes to visit. Everyone loves this relative because she's a fun-loving, free spirit and everyone seems to envy her and her lifestyle. But it turns out that she is just as lonely as others, and secretly envies those with a loving family to care about. The questions are to name the star of this series, the title of the series, and the actress who played the relative. If you need more hints, let me know.

I believe the other actor was John Qualen. If I'm right, he certainly did a number of accents. He seemed to play a lot of Swedish men.

I'm reminded of a movie that came out a few years ago: "The Rookie" with Dennis Quaid. When I first saw the ad for the movie in the newspaper, I thought to myself what a shame that Mr. Quaid (one of my favorite actors) is in a G-rated movie. Too bad that it won't be any good. Much to my surprise, it was a very good movie, and he was wonderful in it. I understand that even he tried to persuade the writer to put in some swear words, to give it a PG rating. So I guess I'm just as guilty as anyone about misjudging a movie simply because of the G rating.
