One of the most moving performances of a person having a breakdown is Ronee Blakely in "Nashville." As many times as I have seen this movie, I'm always moved as she slowly loses control on stage. Not only did she deserve the Oscar nomination, but I really believed that she would win for that year. A great performance. Terrence.

You all have come up with great suggestions for favorite MNtchum films. By far, my Number One Favorite would be "Night of the Hunter." I'll always believe he was robbed of an Oscar nomination for this. Everybody in the cast is perfect, even Shelley Winters, who is definitely not one of my favorites. Just my opinion. Terrence.

I can offhand think of three movies in which the two danced together: "On an Island with You", "Fiesta", and "The Kissing Bandit", in which the two danced with Ann Miller. The last one I mentioned is fun, because the two women fight for Ricardo's attention. Terrence.
