I haven't heard yet who will play the John Gavin part. Perhaps it hasn 't been cast yet. And what a cast this will be! The only one I wish were different is Jessica Biel playing Vera Miles. I have yet to see Ms. Biel in anything that proves to me that she can act. And I'm sure this will be a highly anticipated film.

The chorus of this song begins with: Every fish and worm began to twist and squirm.
This song has been featured in at least two movies. The first is a drama from the 1940's. The actress who performed this was also a singer, although I think her voice was dubbed for this song. She also received an Oscar nomination for this role.
The second movie is a delightful MGM musical from the 1950's and was performed by one of the studio's most popular musical stars in a very spirited rendition.

Again, this is a guess, but I think it's called "How Do You Like Your Eggs in the Morning?" and was sung by Vic Damone and Jane Powell.

This is one of the few movies that I recall with Craig Stevens in a lead. So many times he was relegated to minor roles. And I'm assuming that he met Alexis Smith during the filming. They were married for many years.
