Errol is simply overlooked and ignored it seems by so many.
And that TCM might show his movies - how was that? - all year long, every year, every decade - doesn't count. He has only one 100th birthday, and there should have be some tribute. 'nuff said.

When American Film Institute completely IGNORED Errol Flynn, one of the greatest movie stars of any generation, on their list of Greatest American Film Legends, I simply rolled my eyes. But when TCM ignores his 100th Birthday, and doesn't show ONE SINGLE Errol movie, I am just shocked and appalled by their decision. Errol is truly one of Hollywood's greatest legends. And he is not even honored on his 100th Birthday, by TCM, the place I actually thought had some sense. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. On June Allyson's Birthday, we get movies all day, but for Errol Flynn's 100th BIRTHDAY, we get NOTHING. How tragic!

Silver Screen Shadows, formerly known as Monthly Movie Madness, is thrilled to announce that we are finally online! We have upgraded to a paid domain, allowing us to offer numerous features we were not able to previously. We will no longer be adding new themes of the month only at the beginning of each month. Instead, we will offer new themes at different times throughout the year, so be sure to visit often! If you would like, you can subscribe to our free newsletter, which will be sent out once or twice a month, to stay up to date on all the latest updates at the site! Additional information is available on the home page.
In addition to our new website, we are absolutely delighted to offer something more--The Silver Screen Shadows Forum! The forum will be a wonderful place for movie fans everywhere to meet and discuss their favorite movies, stars, and anything else movie related!
