  1. Thank you A disloyal manservant aids the escape of three people from a dungeon cell, the walls of which are crushing in on them under pressure of river water churned against them by a water wheel on the chateau.
  2. Not as specific as beret. Not as general as man. Take a rough guess as to what hollywood era it's from (1910's 1920's 1930's...) and try - silent actor with hat, or 1930's actor with hat.. This pic may not show up there. This actor does show up (with different hats) in other forms but doesn't look anything like this photo. Hint: it's like a postcard.
  3. TNG - Season Finale http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/The_Best_of_Both_Worlds_(episode)

  12. Right, mr6's. She didn't sound too bad either, IMO. Your thread
  13. One of my all time favorites. I'll stop and watch any film he's in. Szöke Szakall Dutch postcard by City Film. Cute, chubby-jowled Szöke Szakáll (1883 - 1955) was a Hungarian actor who appeared in several German films of the late 1920's and early 1930's. He had to go in exile because of the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi movement. Producer Joe Pasternak invited him in 1940 to come to Hollywood, where he appeared as S.Z. Sakall in Casablanca (1942, Michael Curtiz) and many other memorable films.
  14. Andy Williams, along with some female singers, was tested to dub for this female in her first screen role and her first time singing on the screen. Movie ? Female first-timer ?
  15. Diane Baker - no Barbara Stanwyck - YES! Thank you
