  1. I'd like to comment on one of your 'need to see' selections:

*Executive Suite* is a fine film. Not so much for Ms. Stanwyck's performance

or Mr. Holdens, although Mr. Holden was excellent here, but for the subject

matter itself and the manner in which Mr. Holden's character played around it.

Corporations or large businesses cutting to the bottom line, product and customer

be damned, is even more relevant today. And Fredrich March.. he steals the show..

He's got his efficient way of doing business - nothing wrong there, he just doesn't

realize his myopic vision of their company. He's got their best interests at heart (sigh).

This is an excellent film, with a good climax.
  2. Thank you

A disloyal manservant aids the escape of three people from

a dungeon cell, the walls of which are crushing in on them

under pressure of river water churned against them by a

    water wheel on the chateau.
  3. Not as specific as beret. Not as general as man. Take a rough guess as to what

hollywood era it's from (1910's 1920's 1930's...) and try - silent actor with hat, or

    1930's actor with hat..

This pic may not show up there. This actor does show up (with different hats) in

other forms but doesn't look anything like this photo. Hint: it's like a postcard.
