  1. I don't know myself, musical. I posted it for metz - don't have a clue ?:| I take that back. I just had a look-see and it is Ralph Peters. Good job musical I guess metz is taking a short break so I'll just hang out till he gets back. Edited by: Kid_Dabb on Dec 24, 2012 6:37 PM
  2. Thanks, mr6's. Evil Dead ll, actually. Please have a turn.
  3. *Jack Lemmon ?* *#1. The Notorious Landlady ? OR Under the Yum Yum Tree ?* *#4. Days of Wine and Roses ?*
  4. I believe so. Loosely based. {font:sans-serif}Universal Studios released this in 2007 {font}{font:sans-serif}as part of the {font}{font:sans-serif}Meet Joe Black{font}{font:sans-serif} Ultimate Edition.{font}
  5. It's similar to 1998's City of Angels with Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan, or 1998's Meet Joe Black with Brad Pitt and Claire Forlani. The Bishop's Wife is a bit on the lighter side with it's romance and comedy, but the main thrust is the same in all three films. An angel or, in the case of Brad Pitt's character, Death, visits our plane and falls in love with a human woman. I don't know if you've seen the latter two - pick your version, they're all good when you know what to look for.
  6. No no De Car-LO. A bad guy is in her bed, wounded, unconcious, in a fever. Flailing about calling out womens names.
  7. Led Zeppelin - You Shook Me (Blues) - 1969 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3-XqLFKQzA Led Zeppelin - I Can't Quit You Baby (Blues) - 1969 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPDs_4gW2ns
  8. No no Paulette. My previous clue referred to a western.
  9. Now it's my turn to wait a week. Thanks alot A guy and his girl take a romantic vacation to a cabin in the woods. Strange things abound. The guy is forced to kill his girl to protect himself.
  10. The new guy has a new partner who's handling his (their) new career. She's also his business manager. He's got himself a business lawyer, big house with a pool. He thinks he's really something. He's driving his closest friends away.
  11. There ya go metz - P.S. I believe you've inadvertently discovered how to make a blank post. COOL! C'mon guys, were yaken over!
  12. He's been away for awhile. So's the new guy. Now the new guy is in demand and the old guy is stuck picking up after the new guy as he ruins his new life and personal relationships.
  13. Not Joan Bennett. This little fillie nursed a bad guy into a (assumed) husband.
  14. Yes musical, the lovely Billie Dove. And does anyone recognize this beautiful face?
  15. Thanks, mudskipper. A guy who, at one time, had been doing ok as a country music performer discovers society has passed him by. He's playing second fiddle to the new guy.
  16. Yay for the Gipper :^0 Who's this?
  17. Yes, it's one of my top ten favorites. I don't usually care for Loretta Young, but she's sandwiched between two of my favorite actors and is doing a great job. I've only seen The Preacher's Wife once since it was released. I remember I liked it very much. If I remember, Whitney Houston co-starred. I didn't get into her music much, but I've enjoyed her acting career.
