Why Mr. FredCDobbs, you hit the nail on the head. Myrna Loy for sure. Good eye. It was different enough from the previous pic, I thought it might fool most of us.
Would you like to post the next pic?

Chuck Jones has said this. Or is this a line from a movie?
-
Now, some of the directors wanted Ms. Stumble in the picture. Some didn't.

You're seeing 20/20 my friend. Myrna Loy.
Should I try another, or would you like a go?
-
Just as I suspected. Yes.

As a long time Doctor Who fan I wasn't aware of the films in the 60's. I've seen all the available episodes from start to mid-80's. Thank you for mentioning that, RMeingast.

Been several years. Let's begin with an easy one.

I had some vague recollection. TCM or PBS aired a show 4 or 5 years ago (possibly more recently)with his WWII footage. If I recall correctly, quite a bit of it was in color (for this showing). Like his personal 'home' movies.
I was saving this for another thread but here goes -
Who am I?
My first exposure to a national audience came via radio and television dramas in the
1940s,where I made a name for myself with sensitive portrayals of young women,
most notably opposite Paul Newman and Frank Sinatra in a production for "Producers'
Showcase" (NBC, 1954-57) and "Philco TV Playhouse" (NBC, 1948-1955), which brought
me an Emmy nomination in 1955.

I could swear that's Regis Philbin front row, third from left.

lavenderblue, there is no common thread in the two I suggested. I was hoping one of them would be correct and clue me in to the others. But now you've exposed my secret plans and, I fear, I will lose
it all

Let There Be Light - 1946 John Huston

lavenderblue, that was my feeble attempt at humor in response to your '... you guys have to catch up on your Ava...' along with a response to finance's new list.
