I was adding #175 when the page crashed

Clue: A hotel room was rented. Not an inexpensive one either.

The bar at the bottom of my screen shows this, or some form of this when it hangs
1 item remaining Downloading data htp://i.cdn.turner.com/
..........................css/fonts/moviepostercondensed-webfont.
..........................eot?#iefix'}format.embed...(something or other...)
It always refers to movie posters and fonts of differing styles (sometimes.. movie_poster_bold)
There are no movie posters on the pages involved, unless the headers are considered so.
Thank you for your attention

*1.)* In This Our Life
(everything started working here at 3:00 P.M.)

Now, this IS wierd. While waiting (forever.. again) for the next page to load, I move my pointer around and - what's this!? - my page is locked but my pointer is responding to items on the next page that ain't there yet. When I hover over blank spots or seemingly unrelated text areas, the little pointer window will open with the name of one of our users (e.g. lzcutter) or something from the sidebar on the page I'm trying to get to. It's as if an invisible page has been overlayed over the frozen page and the two are trying to function in the same space at the same time. I think I remember an experiment with electrons or photons along that line. I think my screen has become one end of a wormhole. You'll have to excuse me...
P.S. If no one else is experiencing this, please continue as if I had said nothing.

Jewels are taken to another country to be sold. The sale is blocked.
Light comedy and romance ensue.
Here's a clue: This is one of my favorite films

I'm terribly sorry for the delay folks. Our wireless system crashed just as I was giving
lavenderblue my reply and next clue. New system installed - up and running.
Yes, lavenderblue. NBNW is correct for the clue but not the film I had in mind.
My reasoning behind AATR: To me, DATE is romance.
NBNW was, in my mind, an appointment - business.
FranklinPangborn got the last one - *An Affair to Remember*.
Thank you Franklin and lavenderblue.
Since you got three out of four, you may have the thread lavenderblue
-
Yayyy lavenderblue. All but one. And the common thread is correct.

2.) X.....?

2.) A date not kept

Almost every time I click Post Message, my screen looks as if
it's going to post and move to the next screen but doesn't. The
blue loading bar at the bottom of my screen starts, then freezes.
It will stay there forever.
I've found that as soon as it freezes, if I hit the ESC key on my
keyboard the blue load bar will clear and unlock the screen ...
then I just click the thread name above the posting window to return
to thread and it does, and 9 out of 10 times my message is posted
there. Even if it doesn't show there I can flip to and from another thread
and it will appear when I return or shortly thereafter. Whether I see my
post or not, it is there and I have no need to double post.
Hopefully this will help some of you who are experiencing this.

I click Jack Lemmon's pic (or ..more) on the home page for a list of his films today, the
Summer Under the Stars page comes up a big-white-blank with *0%* in the center of the
page.

Thank you.
This future (male) big star had two lines in The Graduate but it was enough to get
him a place in another film so he could take a very long voyage ten years later.

In the 1941 film *You're in the Army Now*, Regis Toomey and Jane Wyman
found that military life was not quite as restrictive as may have been thought
when they locked lips for three minutes and five seconds, officially the longest
screen kiss ever.
Thank you, flashback. As for *Elena Undone*, I'm sticking with pre 50's films.
*Notorious* is a contender but not the one I had in mind.
..allaboutlana, you got it. Thread is yours.
