Hi Marsha Not Miracle on 34th Street This is a western.

Ok. While we're waiting on Marsha, ... This film was colorized twice: 1988 & 2009. The 2009 version was to DVD and featured both the newly colorized edition, and a restored black and white edition of the film. The new DVD version also featured an audio commentary by both the lead actress and the alleged wife of the film's producer and co-director - not the same woman.

Thank you, Lawrence. One more.. This Universal monster is the only one to be played by the same actor in all his 1940s film appearances. The monster's name will also reveal film titles.

My first thoughts go to The Man who Laughs (1928) - the inspired famous comic book character.. The Joker, who first appeared in the debut issue of the comic book Batman (1940). I'm going with The Bat (1926) for the second part of your question. This, of course, inspired Batman.

This is a fine film. I always get the feeling I'm watching one of those old Disney's Wonderful World of Color tv shows from the 50s-60s. I can almost hear Walt narrating... Too bad it's on so early.

[buzzer] I'm afraid that's not a 50s film. Interesting, though. I'd like to confirm "The Portrait of Dorian Gray" is spoken at least three times in that film. I was unaware there was another film which did so. Hint: The movie I'm referring to is in color and based on a stage play, with the male lead reprising his Broadway role.
