  1. I believe it's Harry Carey and Harry Carey, Jr. - Red River (1948)
  2. I would have liked to have had that job. An early "Mr. Fix-it"
  3. That's an interesting question. I'm guessing in the films which had these scenes added in post, there may well have been an editor and crew which had no connection to the original production.
  4. Ohhh.. missed it by that || much The Robe it is YAYYYYY!!! LonesomePolecat!! - thank you! .. and many thanks to Edythe, starlit and lavender !!!
  5. One of my favorite sci-fi movies. I saw this when it was released in theaters - great stuff. Did you recognize the Martian's spacecraft?
  6. I believe this may be the photo of Janet Shaw cinemafan posted earlier
  7. Well, The Wings of Eagles (1957) fits your description nearly perfectly.. up until the white-gloved hands descend from the ceiling and tickle him: The End. This film does not have those at the end. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wings_of_Eagles Do these seem familiar..?
  8. No A s The purple letters denote the "Who?" and "Where?" were guessed as a whole - not one letter at a time. This means these letters may still be available elsewhere in the puzzle - or not.
  9. I have always gone with THAT Girl. In the series intro, both are emphasized.. though I feel GIRL may have been so in order to facilitate the melody of the show's theme song. So I'm sticking with THAT Girl. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YqbWb2hRH0
  10. OhhhOOoo nooo.. No W s The purple letters denote the "Who?" and "Where" were guessed as a whole - not one letter at a time. This means these letters may still be available elsewhere in the puzzle - or not.
  11. I'll have to include that one in the future
  12. I think this may be Invaders From Mars (1953) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invaders_from_Mars_(1953_film) https://mansplat.wordpress.com/2013/06/11/invaders-from-mars-of-all-places/
  13. Alright! You got "The Bigamist".. - "... Babe" is incorrect. The purple letters denote the "Who?" and "Where" were guessed as a whole - not one letter at a time. This means these letters may still be available elsewhere in the puzzle - or not.
  14. The "Who?" is not The Pianist. However, the "Where?" is correct. The purple letters denote the "Where" was guessed as a whole - not one letter at a time. This means these letters may still be available elsewhere in the puzzle - or not.
  15. Photo Bucket is being difficult. It keeps confusing this photo with one of the same name I had previously deleted - and then doesn't link it to this board.. - - I changed the name of the photo and now it works, but I ain't goin' back.. I re-uploaded one from old reliable: TinyPic - see below All this drama.. I need some chocolate ice cream - 3 scoops double chocolate in a waffle cone - STAT!
  16. I was laid up with a broken ankle when Island in the Sky and The High and the Mighty were re-released in 2005. The cable in my room only had 3 channels, with one being movies, and I was forced to watch these two repeatedly for 3 months. Although it is different than any other Wayne film, Island.. didn't appeal to me. The High and the Mighty however.. I liked this one - probably because it's similar to Airplane! (I hadn't seen Zero Hour! 1957 yet).
  17. 1. I'd like to see the Special Television Edition of Close Encounters of the Third Kind I need to see inside that spacecraft.. 2. Shogun 3. The Questor Tapes (1974)
