What a picture! Great looking characters. This looks as if it could have been used as inspiration for the Dragonball Z animations.

That's the one. Dad called his son saying he was out of work and Peter paid him $1000 to do this cameo. The first time I saw this, I had no idea Henry was in it. Great make-up. Thanks, Miles. Your thread.

Yes! Twice! Good one..! The purple letters denote "Whodunnit" and the 'With what?' were guessed as a whole - not one letter at a time. This means these letters may still be available elsewhere in the puzzle - or not.

I had mentioned in another thread that my local theater is attempting to go digital. This theater is a historical landmark, as well as our only source for classic film presentations on the big screen (outside of the rare classic sci-fi presentation at our one remaining drive-in). Without checking, it's a pretty sure bet the 40th Anniversary Jaws will be in digital format. Our theater has been screening many of these anniversary and special presentation "films" over the years, but this restoration doesn't look like it's going to make it here due to the lack of proper equipment.

THE BIG HEAT: another great Fritz Lang noir
Kid Dabb replied to misswonderly3's topic in General Discussions
This is the only film in which I enjoy Glenn Ford's character. There's a certain feel to this one.. thanks to Fritz Lang, no doubt. Glenn's other films are watchable (to me) but I just don't care for his characters. -

Can't upload a profile picture
Kid Dabb replied to tallguy58's topic in PROBLEMS with the Message Boards
I know this is a simple thing, but all bases must be covered. When you say "I click Done", have you also returned to the bottom of the Profile page after clicking Done to click Save Changes? Then there's also this: http://forums.tcm.com/index.php?/topic/53549-cant-upload-a-profile-picture/ No longer relevant -
Thank you, Miles. This is the only film in which this father and son can be seen together.

I think he fell into that Vincent "Vinnie" Barbarino thing..

Travolta's character had left his gun on a counter outside the bathroom. Bruce's character discovered it about the same time Travolta opened the door to leave - PuhPuhPowww!! I believe he fell backward onto the toilet. It has always bothered me that Travolta would have relaxed to the point of becoming a wee bit careless - even in what appeared to be a completely non-threatening environment; but that's when it always comes... isn't it? It almost seemed out of character, but it worked well with the comic book style plot. I have found that my favorite parts were the prologue and epilogue (start and end of the same diner scene) - the rest of the film splits these two apart making us wait for the whole to complete itself. The ending seemed to resolve nicely on it's own apart from the body of the film, which to me works as a whole film all by it's lonesome. I think of it as one feature length and one short (diner) film.

Good one, lavender! The purple letters denote the first and last names were guessed as a whole - not one letter at a time. This means these letters may still be available elsewhere in the puzzle - or not.

Thanks for the BUMP. I know what you mean about older posts, especially these from 2009 - woo! I'd like to write more like this one, and there are some I just can't believe I penned - wouldn't continue their style. I'd really enjoy watching this one again.. SOON! (hint hint; wink wink; nudge nudge) It's not on the schedule for the next 3 months. Here's hoping it will make a repeat performance around the same time this year: October

Someone else can post another question if they want. I don't mind if this one slips back. Perhaps a new member will dig this one up in the year 2525 and give us the answer.. Seriously.. someone else ask a question.
