  1. Say it! Saaayyy iitt! Say It! Payment Deferred! YES! That is the film! Your thread, mr6s
  2. That's why they don't want us digging up old threads around here. Who knows who's body will pop up. In the morgue, they're John/Jane Does; here, they're Guests.
  3. NEIN! .. um.. No. Earlier film - not a comedy. The body of the wealthy visiting relative is next buried in the back yard.
  4. Ya know.. we used to do just that. We'd also take one of mom's best king-size sheets and hang it over the clothesline - use it for a movie screen for our 8mm movies.
  5. And you would be believin' correctly, Miles. Thank you! Thanks for the link - that print shure could use a good cleanin'. Your turn, pardner.
  6. Also known as "spuckies". I dug up an explanation - here's an article on the various local names for subs - HERE Oh, yeah.. I'd rather stick a needle in my eyes than watch someone throw one of these in a trash can
  7. The wealthy relative will not succumb to the man's requests for money. With heavy debts looming, he resorts to an act of desperation to obtain the money his relative has upon his person. The visiting relative is never heard from again..
  8. She and actress Jaqueline White are often credited for creating autograph shows.
  9. Always. I haven't found the right subject yet - but I'm always workin' on it.
  10. I would like to say this about that How to communicate in writing: by Mr. Magoo
  11. YAYYY! lavender! Thank you starliteyes and lavender!
  12. The man trying to borrow money from his relative is very much in debt, and desperately needs this money.
  13. I think it's Elizabeth Taylor, but I haven't verified it.
  14. 480 "Out of the way, Peter." "Here are the Russians, behind the walnuts. Guns, guns, guns." "Here's the British infantry - the Thin Red Line." "Here's the commander in chief." "And here are you, at the head of the old 68th."
  15. Those eyes pierce the black & white - no mistaking.. someone needs to call home.
  16. I have seen The Others (2001), and I did like it enough to watch a total of three times. I knew there was a twist in the plot, and was ever vigilant until about 3/4 of the way through, when I figured it out. Still, I very much enjoyed Nicole Kidman's performance, and would watch it again just for that. I believe this should be in the top 10 of any list of horror movies of this century. I believe The Sixth Sense (1999) far outperforms The Others (IMHO), and would be my top pick, but alas, that was last century..
