  5. If we had 26 people, we'd have this thing solved already.. Five L s - - Two A s - - Four R s
  6. IMDb has this.. on that.. Walter Matthau : He [Elvis Presley] was an instinctive actor...He was quite bright...he was very intelligent...He was not a punk. He was very elegant, sedate, and refined, and sophisticated.
  7. Ok. Three color films go into a theater. One color film says to the other, "This reely is a nice place. Wanna spool around?"
  8. Although I enjoy this movie very much, Arsenic and Old Lace always seemed a bit corny.. well, over acted a bit at any rate. I suppose this comes from it's stage origin. Whatever makes it feel like a play was transferred to the film version - as I see it, anyway. Cary Grant's overly expressive behavior as he discovers the body in the chest.. He's playing that to the camera as he would to his (stage play) audience. But now that I think about it, You Can't Take it With You has more corn. More "characters" per square foot.
  9. Lonesome, starliteyes beat you to it.. I thank all of you! It was those darn S s , wasn't it? YAYYY! starliteyes !
  10. 478 That's real cool dad. That's real hip. Now move it over. Let Sammy sip.
  11. It's a love story. Several love stories on several levels and about more than the love between individuals.
  12. As many times as I have seen this film, your photo has made me realize, for the first time, David Niven is barefoot. Never noticed this before. See.. even after (mumblemumble) years, I can still make new discoveries in film.
  13. I am in complete agreement with you on this one.. .. but Elvis? AIL-VISS! Oh, say it ain't so..! I like all of his musicals (and I do not like musicals as a genre), even though they are quite contrived. ..but ELVISS! Oh noooooo...!
