The thief, a disheveled pie-shaped fellow, shadows the hero everywhere?the real villain is debonair, ice cold and playing for keeps (he gets what he deserves in the end)?these two characters steal the movie ? but the crooked, drunken, sick husband is also good?plus, the hero is handsome and the woman is a great beauty?

  14. It's not *A Woman's Face* and no Joan Crawford this time...another clue... 6. A local thief offers the hero a chunk of money to leave town, but he refuses. He goes fishing with yet another suspect and ends up toppling into the ocean. The man who saves him dies in the process.
  15. sure... I lived very fast (though I didn't die young). I'd pretty much done it all by the time I was 25: dancer, model, showgirl, actress, wife, divorcee. I even had my own trademark look. I have to admit, though, I was selfish and stubborn and burned a lot of bridges.

  18. Molo - come back anytime you're ready...I'll post something in the meantime... My movie career was relatively brief, but I was a very big star. After a gap between roles of several years I made a few westerns and disappeared. Years later I resurfaced and was much celebrated.
