  1. Alan Alda was in the 1972 TV-movie, written by Truman Capote, "The Glass House," with Dean Jagger

Dean Jagger was in a TV-movie, "Gideon's Trumpet" (1980) with Fay Wray

(note re: Clara Bow and Al Pacino - there was yet another route thru James Gleason...to Sterling Hayden to Al Pacino...fun stuff)

Next: Troy Donahue and Reese Witherspoon

  2. Edward Everett Horton

He played Grandpa Walton Barney Rubble?s best pal the best thing for the two kids in *The Night of the Hunter* to do was run and _____ from their stepfather + nickname for a Beatles album

  3. I'm guessing the musical was *The Gang's All Here* - but don't know what the musical number was or why it was considered pornographic. I've said before, I always learn something on these threads - I didn't know that Alice Faye's career as a star ended the way it did. She was still so young. Yet when I think about *Fallen Angel* she does seem oddly cast.

I'll be back soon w/new person.

    Thanks for an enjoyable round!

  4. Starring *Leslie Howard* (TCM's featured artist last night, he was a very interesting actor)

Thanks again for your kind words. I hope my posts here are fun, that's my intent. And I always look forward to your posts (here and elsewhere) and trying to work them out. You, like me, have got to be a Baby Boomer, we are on the same page with our references and knowledge - most of the time, Irving Bacon being the exception. These threads are such a great outlet for those of us with a love of and interest in classic films, performers, music, pop references, etc.
