  1. Ernest Borgnine was in *Willard* with *Bruce Davison*
  2. Kaye (it was Burton) Carole and John (it's only 8:30 here so I'll peruse the other threads...)
  3. Yellerton, Russ - John Hillerman in *Chinatown*
  4. Roddy McDowell Thanks. I used to do crosswords, so was drawn to this thread even with it's more straightforward clues - but it was your style of clues that really drew me into into it. It is so much fun. I love figuring out your clues (The Mike Curb Congregation killed me) and then breaking down names and coming up with entertainment biz clues is a great challenge. I wish others would play more, too. When I first started there was at least one other person who came up with some clues of this kind. But it was mostly basic word definition clues (which is fine, it's still fun). We've sort of taken it over for now, but I hope others join in. *_______ James* (1939) starred Tyrone Power *The Yellow Rolls-______* old TV series "______ of the Giants" + in *Suez* Tyrone Power imagines a canal across the ___thmus

  7. Tammany Young Catch-phrase from *Marty*, "Hey, ____" *_____ Topo*, cult Western Oscar-nominated director ______ Wertmuller *A Guy Named ____* perennial bad-guy ____ Van Cleef

  10. Donald Pleasence was in *THX 1138* with *Robert Duvall*
  11. Wish I'd seen this thread yesterday so I could've recorded *The Story of Three Loves*. Good to see a thread dedicated to Vincente Minneli - many of his films are favorites: *Meet Me in St. Louis*, *Father of the Bride*, *The Bad and the Beautiful*, *Gigi*, *Some Came Running*. Seems he's mostly known for his (great) musicals, but seems to me that he was as able with comedy and drama/melodrama. I've seen all of above films more times than I can count and many of those listed below. I hope to see more of the ones I don't know on TCM. Know I'll learn more via this thread.
