  1. MilesA - I had an idea you weren't around for my last movie. I doubt there are very many of us who are on the boards 24/7 - tho probably a few. Anyway, *Chinatown* was a nod in your direction and to the sublime noir genre - LadyE

PS - I'm on the west coast, the beautiful Bay Area

  2. LiliVS - we do think a lot alike - and your notion of having Mr. Grant and Mr. Stewart at your feet brought to mind the wonderful predicament Jean Arthur found herself in when she had to choose between Cary Grant and Ronald Colman in *The Talk of the Town*.

A lot of people don't like Peppard in *Tiffany's*, but I think he was the right one for the role and I think he was good in it. So squeaky-clean handsome!

  3. I was a little past high school in '72 and thought Michael was pretty cool myself.

As to Diane Keaton, Woody Allen totally agrees with you. TCM is showing a clip of Woody talking about her versatility and the fact that *Annie Hall* was a showcase of her talent. The proof is the long, long career she's managed to carve out for herself. Not many have been able to do that.
