Way to go, phroso?it is Leo McCarey?s *The Bells of St. Mary?s* (1945) starring Bing Crosby, Ingrid Bergman and, in a small part, a favorite of mine, Edna May Wonacott. The film was nominated for 8 Oscars and won 1. Ingrid Bergman was never more angelic?good work & it?s your thread?

Thanks. Though never so much as nominated for an Academy Award, this actor was quoted as saying, ?Orson Welles lists *Citizen Kane* as his best film, Alfred Hitchcock opts for *Shadow of a Doubt* and Sir Carol Reed chose *The Third Man* - and I?m in all three.? The only award he won was a foreign award for a performance in another of his many classic films. Name the actor and the film he won an acting award for?

Marilyn Monroe?s legend has far surpassed that of Jean Harlow, to whom she was compared in her lifetime?her last film, *Something?s Got to Give*, was never finished but remade as *Move Over, Darling* with *Doris Day*

No, not *The Fugitive Kind* or *The Caine Mutiny*?the reference to awards didn?t mean that no Oscars were won? The new man realizes that the organization (which is a loosely applied term here) suffers from neglect and a lack of funds. His methods seem unorthodox to some, but they come around in time. Though this is not a romance, the two stars manage convey something almost romantic in their relationship. A feel-good film from the 1940s?
