*December* A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES: THE GIGANTIC WORLD OF EPICS ? Sunday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. TCM presents the second in its new series of one-hour specials providing a Film Studies 101 look at top cinematic genres. This time, the network explores the world of cinematic epics, from the lavish spectacles of Cecil B. DeMille to the character-driven dramas of David Lean. In an article I read back in January of this year, TCM announced they would be doing a tribute to Frank Capra in December, including the classic *It's A Wonderful Life*. However, in Movies News on the TCM sight, they talk about TCM Night at the Movies: Thrillers, in October. They also mention something about TCM Night at the Movie: Epics, for December. Does anyone know anything about this?
