Wow...that looks like a fun read!

And what about Judy in Judgment at Nuremberg? That's really sad to watch.

Maybe the right word for the 1946 version is "human" or more "meaningful". The 1957 version is a bit Hollywoodized to me.

What about the earliest one, from 1931?

Good luck to anyone searching for it.

I read one on Cary Grant which I think was called Evenings with Cary Grant. If anyone can find that, it's another good one.

I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but considering TCM is now into the 2010-2011 season for the Essentials, can the message boards update that forum?
Thank You,

Well, you never know! I don't know about you, but my dream job would be a TCM Programmer. It must be quite fun to schedule all those different films throughout the day.

The tennis scene in Pat and Mike is very funny.

Wonderful picks. Did you know the 1952 version was a script for script, music score for music score, scene for scene, and even shot for shot remake?

Lionel Stander played Archie. But Bogie would of been good from what I've seen.

Yes they have recently, but as you said, you mine as well get it on the Criterion.

Footlight Parade is probably my favorite of all the big-production Berkley films of the early 30's at Warner Brothers.

You've got a point....do you think Hedy could of pulled it off?

Birth of the Blues (the word "blues")

TCM is so great, and I'm happy they have been able to please so many people who respect and love classic films.
#1 Suggestion: show more Fox films!
