I will say it was strange TCM showed those big Busby Berkeley musicals for Ginger Rogers night. There on a lot, and Rogers has such a small role in both of them.

I would of liked to have seen Bogart as George in 1939's Of Mice and Men. Burgess Meredith was good, but I think Bogie would been terrific.

Well, at the time, Billy was just starting off and McCarey was one of the best in the business. Despite that, Billy did an unbelievable job with Double Indemnity.

I think I'm going to watch Satan Met a Lady tonight. It's from the Maltese Falcon set, and I am happy I'm finally getting around to watch this version!
