Is Wood going to play Eve Arden's role? Or Ann Blythe's role?

I've also heard that.

For filming locations, I would definitely go with Monument Valley. Other than John Ford's films, that scenery is in a lot of Westerns.

In the words of Al Jolson...."You ain't seen nothin' yet!"
Take a look at this:

No one could of played the role better. I would love to see his day in August for Summer Under the Stars!

Yes, I'm all for a boxset!

#1 is most believable...

Yah, your probably right, but after his Oscar for From Here to Eternity, Frank was considered for the role of Terry Malloy. Although it may sound far-fetched, I can picture it.
Does anyone think Grace Kelly could of pulled off Elizabeth Taylor's role in Giant?

I haven't read this book yet, but I will considering you both recommend it.
-
That's a lovely picture! :x

You've got a point, sadly...
-
He also could of got the role in Guys and Dolls....Hmmmmm
-
CalistogaSprings- yes, I believe Cyd was considered.
WhitSt- He did turn it down, and NBNW is just like a Bond film!
lzcutter- I agree, Holden was obviously the best choice for the role, but I read somewhere that Gene's contract with MGM made him miss out on a few roles, including this one. I don't think Gene would of been terrible all the same...

The old Now Showing intro seemed to always be out of place. The one that I always liked was when the band was playing. I want to say they used that from late 90's-early 00's.

Nice! That would of been pretty cool. How about Grace Kelly in Giant?

I wish I could learn that dance...

Great picks, but I'll go with Joan of Arc on this one. I think it's more historically accurate.

That would be a little strange...

*"darker tale about Dorothy"* ??? This makes me really sad about Hollywood now a days.
-
I wish I could see Storm Warning also...looks good.

Because Hitchcock liked blondes, he went with Eva Marie Saint for North by Northwest. However, Cyd Charrise would have been awesome in her role.
-
Yes, you have a point, but he's ultra-funny in this film.

Moses parting the Red Sea...AWESOME!!!

The music from the segment reminded me of Wii.
