Maybe the best St. Patty's day movie...

That's a good one...

Just remembered...The Jackie Robinson Story.
-
Yes, I've seen that clip. Lots of people say she would of been good as "Rebecca" because of her personality and beauty.

This thread is for anybody to come and comment or make suggestions of roles in movie history that they would of liked to seen gone to another actor or actress.
Some Examples:
Frank Sinatra in *ON THE WATERFRONT*
Cary Grant in *DR. NO*
Vivien Leigh in *REBECCA*
Errol Flynn in *FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS*
Gene Kelly in *SUNSET BOULEVARD*

Top 100 Films. In the Top 100 Comedies, Sullivan's Travels was #39, and also on the list was The Lady Eve, The Miracle of Morgan's Creek, The Palm Beach Story.

He really did deserve them for both of the films.

Does anyone know if Red Skelton was Irish? I would think so because of his wavy red hair.

I like that film too except for that horrific lip syncing Tommy Dix does at the end.

I wonder...

Maybe they'll have a Lucille Ball day during Summer Under the Stars.

No, but personally I would of put The Lady Eve somewhere on there. It is an essential in so many ways.

Even though he did deserve it in 1944, there was others that were eligible...Vincette Minnelli, Billy Wilder...
