I've never seen Sergeant Rutledge, but since it's a WHV release, as you said, it should be easy to get.

Overall it's nice to watch the Oscars despite the overall year in film, but I must say I was disappointed with the Best Original Song Category. Are any of those songs going to be heard in future years? In my opinion songs like The Way You Look Tonight, Baby It's Cold Outside, and Love is a Many Splendored Thing are leagues ahead of the songs nominated last night.
