There wasn't many, but I also know Errol Flynn and Gary Copper were considered.

I think "well rounded" is a perfect way of putting it!

Neat Find...

It probably would of been just as good with Ronald Colman; who by the way was in the running for a bit for the role of Rhett Butler a year earlier.

Well, Ginger Rogers grew up dancing, just like Ann Miller, Leslie Caron, Eleanor Powell, and others, but Judy Garland didn't grow up as a dancer, but a singer. When she had to dance in a few of her films, she danced fine, but it wasn't to the likes of the other actresses. Just my opinion....

I'm getting that feeling to. Maybe because it was in February, they figured it wasn't necessary to do it a few weeks later.

I saw a few clips of it, and the print is good.

Yes, that would be awesome!

Judy Garland wasn't a steady dancer however.
-
You could also add Bataan to The Lost Patrol and Sahara.
-
That went into my head as I was writing that last post. But Taylor's character is supposed to be a soldier, particularly a young soldier in love, if I'm correct.
-
You've got a great point finance.

It's not great, but worth watching.

I've never gotten the chance to watch this one, so hopefully this time I'll record it.

That's good to here. Any month with plenty of John Ford is worth watching!
