I have three!
"Boy, I've got vision while the rest of the world wears bifocals,"
Paul Newman, "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid" (1969)
"Now how can I trust a man who wears both a belt and suspenders? Man can't even trust his own pants!"
Henry Fonda, "Once Upon A Time In The West" (1969)
"No man is a failure who has friends."
Henry Travers, "It's A Wonderful Life" (1946)

Oh if I could co-host the Essentials? First, that is my biggest dream and aspiration! I love watching TCM and listening to Robert Osborne talk about movies (want to work with him or do what he does), especially when my parents tell me I should be studying for school instead. You would think that being 18 they would lay off a bit. Problem is I can't sleep at night unless I watch an old movie...weird, but true. It's my lifelong wish to become a film historian or director, which is what I am going to college for (soon, and not soon enough!). So lets see what movies I would choose...
Well, being a HUGE Hitchcock and Cary Grant fan, I would have to go with *_Notorious_* (1946)! I love Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, Leopoldine Konstantin, and Mr. Grant's performance. They all seem to mix well, but in some parts they each stand out and show themselves just at the right moments.
Next would need to be a Ronald Colman film. For that pick I would go with *_Talk Of The Town_ *(1942). I watch this movie over and over again. It never gets old and it is so entertaining.
Being a senior in high school and a fan of Glenn Ford, I pick *_Blackboard Jungle_* (1955). While I sit in class and zone out periodically I notice the students being disrespectful and this is the first movie that comes to my mind. Sidney Poitier and Glenn Ford's relationship later on in the film reminds me of mine with my teachers (I bond with them better than my own peers).
OH! OF COURSE!!! *_To Kill A Mockingbird_* (1962). I have read the book over ten times (favorite), I own the DVD and seen multiple times, and it's on my iPod! This movie is phenomenal!!!!! Oh I never get enough of this movie. Gregory Peck is fantastic as my hero, Atticus Finch.
Now I'll just list, but keep in mind that all of these movies are great:
Notorious
Talk of the Town
Blackboard Jungle
To Kill A Mockingbird
12 Angry Men
Bringing Up Baby
The Kid (1921)
Singin' In The Rain
The Sting
Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid
Sunset Boulevard
Sabrina (1954)
It Happened One Night
Arsenic and Old Lace
For Me and My Gal
Roman Holiday
It's A Wonderful Life
The Major and The Minor
There are so many! But sadly something like this would be too impossible to happen but it is soooo nice to dream. So until that happens I will be dreaming from my rocking chair and just watching these by myself and watching TCM!

Oh I have to go with *The Pride of the Yankees* because Lou is my favorite baseball player and influence, and *Field Of Dreams*. But being a fast pitch/softball players I also love *A League of Their Own*. My team and I would watch this if we had a big game the next day.
