David, I wouldn't worry too much about changing the title of this topic, I think everyone knows what you are talking about. 

I experimented on an old topic I started.  I hovered my cursor over the title of the topic I started, got a message that said click to edit and I gave it a long click and it allowed me to edit the title.  It did take a couple of tries but I got it to work.  I wonder if depends what kind of device you are using.
