  1. Merrily We Live (1938) Next: Constance Bennett
  2. Red Skelton was in "Yellow Cab Man" with Gloria De Haven
  3. Everybody's All American (1988)
  4. The Dude (Jeff Bridges) from The Big Lebowski
  5. 10. Cliff was the subject of The Clash song "The Right Profile" Someone else please choose the next name since I chose Monty Clift.
  6. Triplets from "Band Wagon" Next: another number you like from "Band Wagon"
  7. Robert Keith was in "Small Town Girl" with Farley Granger
  8. Georgy Girl Next: movie in which someone gets a make-over
  9. Yep, in Allen's earlier (and some would say funnier) movies you can see the influence of Bob Hope and Marx Brothers. And Bogart in "Play It Again, Sam." I've got a few musty, must save books myself.
  10. Buster Keaton Next: Watership Down (1978)
  11. Brandon, Colonel (Alan Rickman) from Sense and Sensibility
  12. Have you tried typing in "guest programmers and their films" (including the quotation marks on either end) using the search button at the top of this screen? That should do it. I just tried and came up with two posts: the original list and this thread.
  13. I found this list. You should be able to click on the heading and get there. If not, type in "guest programmers and their films" including the quotation marks at either end using the search button at the top of the Message Board page. That should get you there.😊
  14. 8. Lillian Hellman reportedly advised him to turn down the role in "Sunset Boulevard" later played by William Holden.
  15. Have you seen any of the Mission Impossible movies? The first few aren't so great but once the series gets rolling (from Ghost Protocol forward) they are a lot of fun with great bad guys and impressive action. Cruise is making two more, reportedly. Fun movies to see on the big screen. I wouldn't mind if they just found an unknown actor to take over Bond, if they found the right person. I don't believe that they'll hand over the franchise to a female Bond. I think there may be a female agent but not a replacement for Bond.
