Yep, exactly. Idris Elba (a name that is often mentioned as a possible 007) at 46 might be too old if they want to get a few movies out of the next choice. The next movie won't be out until 2020. -

There's no magic age that makes an actor qualified to be Bond but it's more of gravitas, for lack of a better word. Connery at 32 was much more of a presence, to me, than Harrington or Pattison. Cavill is OK but none of them really seem like a good fit for Bond. -
