Peebs never claimed he thought it was funny.  You might have been misreading the "roll eyes" emoticon.

Thanks, Sepiatone.  I apologize for taking up space with this, but my only point was that the two pictures were called out as examples of being photoshopped.

Hellzapoppin said that MJ's photo was from his trial.  Tiki said she was referring to the "older" photo.  Curious, I looked up the Egyptian bust and found the origin of it being compared to Michael Jackson's photo.  Tiki said that she was "familiar" with the statue.  So... both photos are real.   That's it.  Not trying to get into any heated argument.

I promise this is my last post on this.

Correct, sorry if you think that's funny.

I'm just glad you confirmed that what you had originally posted was wrong.  I appreciate that. 👍

What do I think? I was familiar with the statue when I saw the post.

Okey-dokey.   So, the whole  "...and it was that one specifically that made me realize most were probably altered photos... Guess everyone knows how to PhotoShop these days!"  and "The photos of the celebrities are "real".....it's the old pictures that could have been altered to look like them. It wasn't until I saw the Michael Jackson example that the possibility occurred to me" is just nonsense.

You're now saying they are both real photos.  Got it.  Thanks. 🙄

What I actually meant was.  Right before the movie opened.  They had Jurassic World Night on NBC with the first Jurassic World.  Not the first Jurassic Park.  Excuse me and it was hosted by the cast with special looks at Jurassic World Domenion.  Remember?  I still tivoed it.  But I missed their intro and the very beginning.  Because I forgot it was on.  So I was wondering if there was a way you could actually still watch Jurassic World Night from before Jurassic World Domenion opened in theatres.  So I could see the casts opening and the first Jurassic World from the very beginning before I see Jurassic World Domenion.  I would have loved to have seen Jurassic World Domenion on the big screen and I would have been there.  But I haven’t gone to the movies in a while.  Due to covid of curse.  But I will go back to the movies as soon as it’s safe enough.  So I could see it here on my IPad in the Amazon Prime Video app.

David, it looks like you could see it on NBC.com  👇

I just submitted over 10 photos of properties including addresses to show ordinance violations & was told by City Hall "photos are not acceptable evidence because they can so easily be "manipulated". Guess everyone knows how to PhotoShop these days!

Maybe you are right, Tiki.  I hadn't considered that...

I did a little research to track down the bust.  Tell me what you think. Apparently, the bust is from The Field Museum in Chicago.

See the article from NPR and a piece on the local NBC station in Chicago.  Also, a visitor to the museum made a little video that includes the bust.

    I liked #12 (Michael Jackson)  ;)

I had forgotten how severe MJ looked at the end.  Yikes.

Thurman and Hawke starred together in Gattaca (1997), where Hawke played a young man who was conceived naturally by his parents, genetic flaws and all, in a future where nearly every baby was genetically selected for supposedly superior traits.  Working on this film led to their relationship and eventual marriage

I don't often comment on an actor's appearance, but for some reason Hawke looks a lot older than 51.

I agree that Hawke looks older than his 51.  He was rather baby-faced early in his career.

If any movie were worthy of a remake, Mad World should be on the top of the list.

There was a similar movie called Rat Race (2001) with Whoopi Goldberg, Cuba Gooding, Seth Green, Jr., John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson and comedy legend ... Gloria Allred as herself.  Similar basic plot, strangers race to claim a $2 million prize.  I'm happy to say that I haven't seen this but it looks pretty bad.
