  1. I REALLY don't want to offend anyone here but if it's just thirty minutes, I'm sure that you can find something else to do with your life instead of forcing yourself to watch something you don't like. Just a suggestion......... cjrogan, do you ever have anything nice to say??? You seem like a person who just loves to complain i.e. your constant rant about things that are not in technicolor. By all means express your opinion but wow........
  2. Hello all..... I wish sooooo badly to see the film Seven Women staring the great Anne Bancroft. I can't find it anywhere on video, and I don't even think it was ever available. If anyone has taped it off of the television and it's just collecting dust, I would be more than happy to buy it from you. I can pay you through paypal or send cash/check. I am seriously going crazy to see this film and your help would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me via email at iluvthoseclassics@yahoo.com PLEASE help me out.......
  3. oh Rita Hayworth...i know it's been mentioned before, what do you guys think of Garbo? Wasn;t she voted most beautiful women ever, or something like that?
  4. Judy Garland Joan Crawford and of course....Anne Bancroft(I love her, she's great!)
  5. Like they say, you could hate her, but you couldn't ignore her. This is a good question actually. I don't really know what it is about her, but I can't keep my eyes off the tv when she's on it. Mildred Pierce is one of my favorites!!
  6. Hello all. I was just wondering, what is your favorite Judy Garland film? I haven't seen too many of her film's so I was just wondering, what is her best?
  7. I think that Judy Garland was gorgeous. It's absurd that MGM called her their "little hunchback." She just has a unique look that I think is " breathtakingly beautiful."
  8. good point and well put classicsfan
  9. Although it was made in the 60's, I would still really like to see this film. It was John Ford's last and was called "7 Women". Has anyone seen his film, and if so did you like it?
  10. WOW I didn't mean to offend you I was just trying to put another view out there. I mean I agree with you that they shouldn't advertise it if they're not going to have it, but I couldn't see why you were getting so mad over it. Sorry if I offended you, I just thought I would put a different opinion out there. Isn't that what these forums all about?
  11. Did you ever think that TCM isn't here to just put on what you want. I'm sure many people enjoy the 60's and 70's movies. Besides, it's Summer Under the Stars and they have specials on right now. I don't see how you can get so mad over a movie anyways.
  12. Hello all. I was wondering if any of you have seen John Fords last film "7 Women" starring Anne Bancroft. I think it was made in 1966, but don't hold me to it. I would very much like to purchase this but can't seem to find it anywhere. If any of you have any information as to where I could find this film, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  13. I really think this month is going to be awesome too! Because I'm still in my teens, I don't really know anything about the great actors/actresses of years passed. I was really excited to find that they have "intimate portrait" type shows giving the bio on them. Although I'm kind of bummed I missed the Joan Crawford one, I'm really excited about this month. TCM is awesome!!!!
  14. You can buy this film at ebay and I'm pretty sure I saw it there on dvd.
