Joe and Jerry witness the murder of Osgood and now have to hide out in a South American banana republic. Of course they have to disguise as women again, this time in Carmen Miranda-style costumes where they perform a lot of numbers with Xavier Cugat's band. A South American dictator falls in love with them both. On the wedding day the boys escape and swim to Osgood's yacht, now owned by Osgood's brother. Upon finding that Osgood's brother is even worse, they swim back to the South American dictator instead.

Mr Potter is so mad he can't forclose on the Building and Loan that he gives up being subtle and pulls out the big guns. In this case meaning actual big guns. He has a wild west showdown in the middle of Bedford Falls with George Bailey. "This town ain't big enough for the two of us", Mr Potter says. George tries to talk him out of it with Mary hiding the kids for safety in the nearby movie theater. Suddenly the whole town mobs Potter at once and tears him apart. The guy who pushes his wheelchair runs for the hills as the town celebrates the end of the tyranny. In the grand finale, Harry Bailey marries Annie, at long last!
